At a community meeting on March 20, 2019, more than 150 concerned Port Hope residents were reassured that Port Hope High School will not close.
Superintendents Jack Nigro and Chris Arnew, school board trustees Jaine Klassen Jeninga and Terry Brown, PHHS principal Ron MacDonald, and MPP David Piccini were all on hand to address roughly 40 questions that came up at the first public meeting in February, and to answer additional questions.
More information about the meeting is available from Port Hope Now and Northumberland News.
